BVI Food Fete | October 18 to December 1, 2019


November is Food Month in the British Virgin Islands! Throughout the month, the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board and Film Commission hosts exciting events that showcase local and international cuisine, top-notch entertainment, local vendors and much more. Each event takes place on a different island to introduce locals and tourists alike to the unique sights, sounds and flavors of the BVI!

Welcome to the British Virgin Islands Gourmet Soirée, a stellar culinary event to which you are cordially invited during the third annual BVI Food Feté on 7th November 2019. Mingle amongst a party of fellow food connoisseurs and tastemakers, indulge in the tranquil ambiance created by gently lapping waves and raven skies as flavourful cuisine is served to you by our local and visiting international chefs. The evening will offer a quintessential experience for epicureans as chefs prepare their signature dishes at live demonstration stations set along the beach. Diners can also enjoy a selection of wines that will be paired with each course followed by delectable desserts prepared by an award-winning chocolatier and pastry chef.

Saturday November 9th, will feature a taste of all this island has to offer; restaurants, food vans and cafes. Small and large vendors. Deserts, local drinks, wines, beers and cocktails. And we’re not stopping there. You’ll have the opportunity to be engaged by our talented local culinary team, who were extremely successful at the Taste of the Caribbean held in Miami Florida. This year at Taste of Tortola, we will also feature celebrated St. Croix Chef, Digby Stridiron, Chef John Mooney and Chef Shorne Benjamin. Jost Pork and More Fest is scheduled for Sunday November 17th. In our endeavor to expose our foodies to all that the BVI has to offer on our culinary scene, the Jost Pork was created in 2016. Of course held on Jost Van Dyke, this event features all dishes Pork; Stew Pork, Grilled Pork, pulled pork, you name it, it will be available. Participating restaurants will include Foxy’s, Soggy Dollar Bar, Hendo’s, Corsair’s and more.

Set under the VG stars, this exquisite event has never disappointed. A night of sensational jazz, scrumptious tastings and chef displays. This year, the event will be sprawled across the beautifully decorated lawn of Toad Hall and will feature a reunion of celebrated Little Dix Bay Chefs including; Germain Villatoro and Vikram Garg among others. Anegada Lobster Festival November 30 and December 1. This one of a kind experience has continued to grow and has become an internationally acclaimed culinary event.
