Peter Island’s First Annual Caribbean Food Festival will take place from 11th-12th November at Peter Island Resort & Spa. The event brings together chefs from various Caribbean islands to celebrate Caribbean food and cooking techniques. Popular chefs include Nina Compton and Ron Duprat.

DATES – November 11-12, 2016 (November is Culinary Month in the British Virgin Islands)
Friday November 11th
5PM – Welcome reception for Chefs and Judges.
7PM – Dinner for Chefs, Judges and VIP’s showcasing restaurants from the British Virgin Islands.

Saturday November 12th
12NOON – Chef’s beach relay race
4PM – Caribbean Cocktail Challenge.
7PM – Caribbean Tasting Menu (each Chef will be assigned a course).
10PM – Dancing and entertainment.

All Access Festival Pass – $250 per person (full access to all events).

Individual Events:

Taste of the BVI Dinner, Friday November 11th – $100/each.  Dinner only, no drinks included.

• Chef’s Beach Relay Race, 12 Noon Saturday – $50/each.  Includes access to the event, 2 beach cocktails and light beach meal prepared by Celebrity Chefs (during race).
• Caribbean Cocktail Challenge, 4PM Saturday.  Complimentary.  Pass holders will all receive the 3 top cocktails as decided by the judges and help in choosing the winning cocktail.
• Caribbean Tasting Menu and after party, 7PM Saturday – $155/each. Dinner only, no drinks included.

Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the scholarship fund to support aspiring BVI culinary professionals to further their culinary education.

• Saturday Afternoon – Celebrity Chef Beach Relay, Deadman’s Beach. Watch our celebrity chefs cook, crawl run and swim on our Deadman’s Beach as they prepare tasty delicacies for the audience.
• Saturday Afternoon – Caribbean Cocktail Challenge, Drake’s Bar. Help judge along with celebrity Bartender/Host Abigail Gullo a bartending challenge for the BVI’s top bartenders.
• Saturday Evening – Caribbean Tasting Menu, Tradewinds Restaurant.   Enjoy a sumptuous tasting menu prepared by our celebrity chefs. Followed by dancing and entertainment.
